DESIGN-led developer ANGLE has received approval to develop twenty residences in Studley Park, Kew, with an expected end value of $80 million.
Located on a one-acre site on the corner of Stawell Street and Fernhurst Grove, Fernhurst will comprise 17 apartments and three homes priced between $2 million and $7 million.
This will make the seventh project for the developer, which has so far exclusively focused on Melbourne inner-east and inner-south, across Camberwell, Elwood, Hawthorn, Kew and South Yarra.
This includes the successfully completed Fenwick, which sits just over 500 metres away, with ANGLE set to again partner with architecture practice Edition Office and landscape designer Eckersley Garden Architecture to deliver Fernhurst.
“Our portfolio is first and foremost centred on good design – we work with the best architects, interior designers and landscapers to deliver high-end projects that are still in highly sought-after locations,” said Lachie Gibson, director at ANGLE.
“We’re incredibly proud of the work we’ve done so far in the suburb of Kew – with our award-winning Fenwick development located just a few minutes from the Fernhurst site. We look forward to delivering another project to this discerning local market, having engaged extensively with the community throughout the entire permit process”
Sitting just 300 metres from Kew Junction, Fernhurst will boast an ultra-low-density outcome, with a minimum three-metre ceiling height to all living areas, no screening throughout, high façade ration, three carparks for the majority of residents and large private storage rooms for all residents.
Additionally, with around 113 metres of combined frontage, each ground floor residence will enjoy an average garden area exceeding 150sqm. With the project’s garden areas to include over 100 canopy trees.
With an approved planning permit now in place, sales at Fernhurst will commence in 2024 ahead construction, which expected to commence later in 2024.
