CHARTER Hall has acquired the 3.29-hectare former Smith’s Snackfood Company manufacturing site in Perth’s southern industrial hub of Canning Vale for $9.6 million.
The level and rectangular-shaped 38 Bannister Road property was offered with vacant possession and comprises an office and warehouse facility of 15,600sqm with refurbishment and redevelopment potential.
The site had been developed in various stages over the past 35 years is zoned General Industry, allowing for a wide range of industrial uses.
It is located close to multiple access points to Bannister Road, the key arterial through the industrial region, and has easy access to the Roe Highway and Kwinana Freeway.
Knight Frank agents Jarrad Grierson and Martin Vogt sold the property, which was originally offered to the market in April last year, six months after Smith’s vacated the site.
