JLL has appointed a new head of property and asset management for its Canberra team, in Sean North.
North has more than 17 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, having held several senior leadership positions and working across project management, asset management and capital markets.
“Sean brings a wealth of experience with a broad cross section of client segments and asset types, and I am delighted to formally announce his appointment as our new Head of Property and Asset Management – ACT,” said Tim Mutton, managing director of JLL, ACT.
“Given the depth of his experience, Sean’s appointment is significant for JLL and will complement our national Property and Asset Management division, as we continue to deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients. We’re thrilled for Sean to lead our PAM team in Canberra, which will be a key growth sector under his leadership.”
North comes to JLL from Knight Frank, where he worked as state managing director and as part of the national asset services leadership team, which is responsible for leading institutional clients.
Prior to his time at Knight Frank, North held positions across numerous real estate disciplines, including involvement in national tenant customer initiatives, asset optimisation and portfolio performance.
“Sean is an expert in his field, and I am delighted that he is now leading our Canberra PAM team,” said Richard Fennell, head of property and asset management at JLL, Australia.
“We have a fantastic track record of delivering exceptional property management services to our clients and I have no doubt that under Sean’s guidance, we will continue to develop and enhance our offer and deliver the best property management advice in the market.”
This latest hire follows JLL’s appointment of Matt Brunsdon earlier in the month to its new logistics and industrial sales and leasing team in Western Australia.
