PERTH-based syndicator Properties & Pathways has put the recently refurbished 7,480 sqm Bathurst Supa Centre in New South Wales to the market.
CBRE’s Nick Willis and Loughlin Bataille are marketing 230–240 Sydney Road in Kelso via expressions of interest.
The complex is on an 18,000 sqm site with 170 vehicles fronting Great Western Highway and is the region’s largest large format retail complex, and includes Fantastic Furniture, BCF and Petbarn stores.
“We are continuing to experience strong demand for well leased and secure retail investments, in particular those opportunities that provide value add and growth potential,” Bataille said. “Bathurst Supa Centre has undergone recent refurbishments that have strengthened the centre’s investment appeal, with it offering a WALE of five years.
“Noting the long-term security, growth and attractive price point, we anticipate strong interest in the asset from private investors and syndicators.”
Australia’s large format retail sector recorded $1.03 billion worth of investment sales across 21 assets, with around 20% of the deals taking place in New South Wales.
Expressions of interest through Colliers are still open for the Blaxland Home Centre in Sydney’s Campbelltown, which covers a 4.17-hectare site over four lots and titles, with expectations of fetching around $50 million.
This week, more than 40,000 sqm of commercial land primed for development in the nearby suburb of Gregory Hills was listed for sale by CBRE. The 4.1-hectare The Precinct @ Gregory Hills site has approval for a mixed-use project comprising large format retail premises, food and drink premises and recreation facilities.
