HEALTH and beauty retailer Priceline has taken Dick Smith’s former Adelaide CBD flagship store at 55 Gawler Place.
CBRE associate director Julia Pottenger negotiated the seven-year lease with a five-year option for the 535sqm space on behalf of the building’s private owner.
“Following the collapse of Dick Smith we knew that the Gawler Place tenancy would need to be placed on the market. We were always confident it would lease well due to its close proximity to Rundle Mall and, after a short campaign, we received four offers, all from national tenants,” Pottenger said.
Priceline will be relocating from just a few doors down at 69 Gawler Place, and is also currently fitting out its expanded Myer Centre tenancy, which has increased by 30% to 550sqm.
