THE Moreton Bay Regional Council has sold an industrial site in Brendale to a private investor for $2.75 million.
Knight Frank’s Chris Wright and Mark Horgan negotiated the sale of Lot 1, 354 South Pine Rd.
Wright said the transaction reflects the growing trend of investors seeking quality industrial assets in Brendale industrial precinct, approximately 17km north of the Brisbane CBD.
“The large development site is 1.754 ha and benefits from approximately 200 metres of frontage to one of the precinct’s most recognised arterial roads with over 16,500 vehicles passing by on a daily basis.
“The Brendale industrial corridor is well established and home to many large organisations including Visy, Aldi, Bunnings, Iplex, Target, Cameron Group, Bureau Veritas and Weatherford. This prime industrial hub has access to local amenity public transport and an approved B-double road network,” he added.
Horgan said another major draw card was the opportunity to develop the site, subject to approval from the Moreton Bay Regional Council.
