An office building in North York, Ont., has traded for $40.5m, Green Street News can reveal.
Scotiabank sold 90 Wynford Drive to Access Storage. Avison Young handled the deal, which closed in mid-October.
The valuation for the 181,000 sq ft building works out to $224/sq ft. The property was previously Scotiabank’s Wynford Campus, but the bank vacated in May. It’s 100% leased to QuickLedger Inc.
The six-storey office building was completed in 1968 and underwent a major retrofit in 2016. There are 420 surface and underground parking stalls.
The 4.9-acre parcel is zoned MO-6, permitting industrial and office uses. It’s within 600 m of the Don Valley Parkway, Eglinton Avenue East and Don Mills Road. Upon completion, the Eglinton Crosstown LRT and Ontario Line subway will service the property.
The Aga Khan Museum, Flemingdon Park Golf Club and several parks are nearby.
