LEND Lease has made a number of changes to its senior management team following the departure of its Asia CEO Eng-Peng Ooi.
Eng has decided to leave Lend Lease after 30 years with the group, so Rod Leaver, currently CEO of the Australian business, will take over and be based in Singapore.
And Mark Menhinnitt, previously Lend Lease’s group head of infrastructure development, will be the new CEO for the Australian business. He has been with the group for 23 years holding many senior positions, including global CEO of the project management & construction business, and heading the public partnerships business in the Americas.
Murray Coleman, previously group head of project management & construction, has been appointed managing director for the Australian project management & construction business and will be responsible for Environment, Health & Safety and Risk & Insurance.
Finally Tony Costantino, formerly managing director of the Australian project management & construction business, is now executive director of this business.
Lend Lease has also brought in new people, Andrew Wilson, formerly CEO of Laing O’Rourke Australia, has been appointed as managing director of development, for the $6 billion Barangaroo South urban regeneration project in Sydney.
And Michael Connolly will join as head of integration to assist in the integration of the Valemus businesses.
Group CEO Steve McCann said the appointments demonstrate the depth of Lend Lease’s senior management team and further enhance Lend Lease’s strong leadership capability in line with its overall strategic direction.
