THE Supreme Court of Victoria has found the Construction, Forestry, Mining and Energy Union guilty of contempt over its blockade of the Myer Emporium site in August last year.
Grocon took the CFMEU to court and is suing the union for damages over the dispute.
Justice Anthony Cavanough found the union guilty of contempt and has set a date to award penalties and costs.
Grocon chief executive Daniel Grollo said on twitter “Justice!!! “Grocon people were right to defend their right to work. And to support each other from intimidation.”
