A LOCAL developer has acquired a Hawthorn development site with a permit application for a boutique apartment project for $4.576 million.
Gross Waddell’s Andrew Thorburn and Andrew Waddell sold the 177 Auburn Rd Hawthorn in Melbourne’s inner east via expressions of interest.
The 1,184 sqm of prime residential land is located between Glenferrie Rd and Burke Rd retail precinct.
Waddell said the main attributes of the property are plans and permits for 22 apartments and 22 car spaces designed by C.Kairouz Architects.
“Sites in this location with plans and permit rarely present themselves. 177 Auburn Rd received considerable interest from both local and off-shore developers alike. The property eventually sold to a local developer who plans to utilise the permit approved,” Waddell said.
