HEWITT Cattle Australia, backed by major Canadian pension fund Public Sector Pension Investment Board, has acquired two cattle stations in the Northern Territory for circa $50 million.
The purchase includes the Ambalindum Station and the Numery Station, encompassing a combined 650,000 hectares with a capacity of 20,000 head of cattle, located around 140 kilometres east of Alice Springs.
The sale included around 15,000 head of cattle, and brings Hewitt’s assets to a total of more than 1 million hectares and 75,000 head of cattle.
