DISCOUNT supermarket Aldi is selling its newest store in Bunbury, Western Australia.
CBRE’s Ben Younger and Kate Foley have been appointed to market the property.
Located at 9 Edward St, the 2,810sqm property can accommodate a range of uses including a medical, childcare, retail and food and beverage offering.
The property forms part of the larger 10,373sqm site purchased by Aldi in 2016, with this portion identified as surplus to the retailer’s needs.
Due to open mid-July this year, the new Bunbury Aldi has reached approximately 70% completion and will comprise a 1,550sqm footprint with more than 95 car bays. The Bunbury outlet will be the 26th Aldi Supermarket in WA.
Younger said the property’s prominent position adjoining the new Aldi supermarket would underpin strong buyer interest.
“This property is ideally positioned to benefit from the highly anticipated opening of Bunbury’s first Aldi supermarket, with potential extending to a wide range of retail and commercial uses,” Younger said.
Foley said with dual street frontage and a central city location, she is expecting the property will attract strong interest from developers and occupiers.
