ONE of the few remaining industrial sites in the southern Canberra suburb of Hume, a 3,274sqm vacant corner block at 69 Sheppard Street, has sold for $820,000.
The mostly level, fully fenced site sold with an existing concrete car park and the previous building slab, which had an office and warehouse building of 912sqm including 694sqm of warehouse space and 218sqm of office.
Selling agents Mark Thompson and Greg Lyons of LJ Hooker Commercial said, “there would appear to be relatively straight forward options to extend the building to the rear and/or side if required”.
The site sold at a land rate of $250.46 per sqm.
