A “blank canvas” vacant retail property in Sydney’s inner-western suburb of Marrickville with flexible B2 Local Centre Zoning has sold under the hammer for $2.32 million.
Raine & Horne Commercial’s Nicholas Smith marketed 258 Marrickville Road, which was auctioned by Jesse Davidson of Auctionworks.
The site encompasses 215 sqm and has an existing 100 sqm building and two car spaces, and a wide seven-metre frontage.
It was marketed as allowing purchasers to “design and build their ideal property or alternatively for investors and developers looking to obtain approval to construct a mixed retail/residential development”, with options including shop-top housing, multi-level commercial building, or a boarding house-style project.
