GOLD Coast City Council has approved an apartment project overlooking the Gold Coast’s Snapper Rocks surf break at Rainbow Bay, which has nearly sold out with more than $70 million in sales in little more than two months.
Only one apartment remains for sale in Brisbane developer Paul Gedoun’s luxury Flow Residences, a half floor residence valued at $3.2 million.
The project launched in late June and buyers have been mixed and varied – some from interstate and some local and from many walks of life, said Jayde Pezet, sales and marketing director of KM Sales and Marketing, who has been marketing the project for Gedoun’s S and S Projects.
Pezet said the common dominator is that all buyers want a healthy, laid-back beach and surfing lifestyle with like-minded people who can enjoy project’s facilities.
Positioned on an elevated north-facing site, 1 Petrie St, and overlooking Coolangatta’s the boutique project will deliver 22 residences. Architect Cottee Parker, the designer of the Queen’s Wharf residential resort in Brisbane, designed Flow Residences. Each apartment offers spectacular ocean views of the pointbreak and the Gold Coast.
Broad features include dedicated surfboard lockers to exclusive wine lockers and expansive communal facilities. The “beach club” will have a recreation deck, private dining and function spaces and a full gym for residents and their guests, and residents will also have access to a heated pool, steam room, entertainment centre, and multiple dining and break out spaces.
Above this will be 12 levels of private living, close to beaches, Apex Park and the dining and shopping precinct of Coolangatta.
Three levels of basement parking will provide at least two car parks for each apartment.
