HUB Australia is expanding its flexible workspace offering in its Brisbane offering, to become its largest in the country.
Hub ANZAC Square, which opened back in 2018, will see the addition of a new full floor added to the current four-floor site, for a 25% increase to its member capacity.
The expansion from 3,861sqm to a new total of 5,135sqm, will see up to 830 member accommodated, with new amenities, technology and lifestyle facilities.
“We’ve created Hub Australia’s largest site in Brisbane as we expect more businesses will be drawn to the vibrant city’s stable and resilient commercial market. Despite some recent COVID-19 restrictions in southeast Queensland, the appetite for high-end, engaging and versatile workspace is strong and we’ve already seen significant enquiry from small businesses through to large corporates,” said Brad Krauskopf, CEO and founder of Hub Australia.
Already blue-chip companies have expressed interest in the new expanded space, including Touch2Pay and Black Wolf Consulting.
Geyer Design has been appointed to deliver new amenities to the site, with an ergonomic lobby, collaboration spaces, meeting rooms, a communal gathering space, kitchen area and an outdoor terrace.
Other amenities include a café, kitchen, rooftop event space, as well as a media and exercise studio.
“We’re delighted to soon be home to Hub Australia’s largest flexible workspace offering in the country. Their high-quality expansion will cater for the growing demand from tenants in our building seeking premium flexible workspaces,” said David Burgess, co-head of property at Eleanor Investors Group, who own the building.
In the coworking and flexible workspace sector, much-maligned coworking provider WeWork has its on-demand service in Australia, while listed provider Wotso Property reported a $12 million lift in annualised turnover to $21 million, asmore businesses adopt hybrid working models.
