STOCKLAND is launching its latest land lease communities in the Logan region in Halcyon Vista and Halcyon Edgebrook, which will see 479 new seniors’ living homes delivered.
Halcyon Vista community is located within Logan Village and comprises 161 homes, which are expected to be move in ready by early 2025.
While Halcyon Edgebrook is located in Eagleby and comprises 318 homes with homeowners expected to move in before mid-2025.
“The decision to launch the two new communities almost simultaneously was driven by the demand for homes that allow buyers to downsize without compromise, settle more quickly, and move in sooner,” said Glenn Nugent, project director at Stockland Halcyon Communities.
“The turnkey homes at Halcyon Vista and Halcyon Edgebrook make the decision-making process when building a new home more convenient. All homes are fitted with top-of-the-line fixtures and finishes, meaning homeowners can move in, faster.”
Amenities at Halcyon Vista will include a pickleball court, heated magnesium pool with spa, outdoor BBQ, outdoor yoga, gym and sauna, hobby shed, cinema, clubhouse, lounge, bar and kitchen, library, hair salon, rooftop bar and lawn bowls, games room with pool table and table tennis, multipurpose craft room and covered terrace with pizza oven.
While Halcyon Edgebrook will include a heated magnesium pool with spa, gymnasium, yoga studio and sauna, cinema, kitchen, clubhouse, fireplace and lounge, salon and treatment room, library, outdoor entertaining, bar, covered lawn bowls, craft room, art studio, games room, hobby shed, BBQ pavilion and pickleball courts.
“Both Halcyon Vista and Halcyon Edgebrook provides those over 50 with the opportunity to become part of a thriving and connected community, while combining the best of the Logan area,” added Nugent.
“Halcyon Vista is rich in history, young in spirit, and is right in the heart of Logan Village, and the nature-inspired Halcyon Edgebrook community offers a balance of connection and convenience, surrounded by the coast and the city.”
The launch of both communities comes after the success of Halcyon Rise, Stockland’s first land lease community in the Logan area, in Logan Reserve.
Stockland entered the land lease sector in 2019 and acquired existing operator Halcyon Communities back in 2022.
While back in April, construction commenced on Stockland’s first NSW land lease community, Stockland Halcyon Gables, which it acquired in 2020.
Stockland Halcyon also launched four new Victorian communities to the market in January, after the success of Halcyon Berwick, with Halcyon Evergreen, Highlands, Horizon and Jardin.
