AUSTRALIAN Unity Home Care Services has signed a long-term lease in the Parramatta CBD in one of the largest office transaction for 2016.
CBRE’s Luke Bryant and Stephen Panagiotopoulos negotiated the 1,510sqm lease at 56 Station St – comprising a full floor office spanning 1,103sqm and a ground floor showroom of 406sqm. The office space for the building was marketed for $380 per sqm net. The tenant signed a seven-year lease.
Bryant said the building’s high quality and opportunity to provide a ground floor presence was paramount to Australian Unity’s decision.
“In addition to offering a high quality space, the proximity to the transport interchange, local services and amenities further substantiated 56 Station St as a clear front-runner for their accommodation.
“This property is ideally suited to support the ongoing growth of Australian Unity, following its success winning the NSW tender servicing in-home care services to more than 50,000 clients across the state,” he added.
Bryant said the deal was further evidence of Parramatta’s growing profile as a dual-CBD and business destination.
“The addition of another major national tenant, Australian Unity, demonstrates the positive outlook for Parramatta city, which is further supported by premier services and amenities coinciding with the significant investment currently being injected into the area,” Bryant concluded.
