THE 451,200ha Benmara Station in the Northern Territory’s Tablelands has been sold for around $12 million.
The site was sold by CBRE’s Geoff Warriner and Chris Holgar via private treaty on behalf of the Holt family, with Malcolm Harris reportedly purchasing the site and adding to his existing properties Rockhampton Downs, also in the Northern Territory, and Gogo Station in Western Australia’s Kimberley Region.
Benmara Station has a carrying capacity of around 20,000 head of cattle, and comprises a range of land and soil types as well as numerous dams, bores and watercourses.
