- What next Jagger joins CBRE’s national investment team
A familiar name in the Vancouver marketplace has joined CBRE’s national investment team as an executive vice president, Green Street News can reveal.
Cynthia Jagger has made the switch from Dexter Realty, starting her new position at CBRE in Vancouver today.
“It’s a very exciting move for me,” Jagger told Green Street News. “I’m looking forward to partnering with the national investment team and the highly valuable CBRE brand to assist our clients with making the best investment decisions in today’s market.”
Jagger, who has been in the industry for 22 years, has brokered more than 100 sales totalling more than $2bn since 2016. She also has worked at Altus Group as an appraiser and Goodman Commercial.
Tony Quattrin, vice chair of the national investment team, praised Jagger as a consummate professional who holds a rich resume. Quattrin said the firm is glad to bring her on board.
“She has deep roots in the commercial real estate industry on both sides of her family,” he said, adding that Jagger has a strong understanding of the industry’s fundamentals. “We look forward to working with Cynthia and helping her reach even greater success as a key member of our team. “
Jagger is a frequent commentator in media and often speaks at real estate forums. She is also on the Urban Development Institute Lower Mainland board, including as vice chair of the rental issues committee.
She predicts 2025 will be another roller coaster year but with more positivity around the market than in recent years.
“I think it’s shaping up to be a good year, much more liquidity, more sale transactions,” Jagger said. “However, we have some macro issues to consider with an election federally and a new president in the States.”
