TRINITY's Consolidated Properties is set to embark on a new residential project in Townsville.
Consolidated recently settled on the $3.7 million purchase of a 367 hectare site, which it plans to develop a $15 million boutique rural housing estate, known as Bluewater Park.
The estate will have nine premium rural lots, each measuring about 40 hectares.
A development application is expected to be lodged for the Bluewater Park site, located at 153 Forestry Drive, about mid-2008, with the group aiming to commence construction in early 2009.
Construction is expected to take 18 months.
Consolidated Properties project partner Lachlan Grantley said Bluewater Park was located just 25 minutes from the Townsville CBD.
“This estate will offer buyers a laid-back rural alternative to central Townsville, yet is located within close proximity to all the amenities and facilities on offer in the city,” he said. “Properties of this size and style rarely come on the market in Townsville, with the majority of land available around the standard allotment size of 600 sqm to 800 sqm,”
“We believe this project will help fill the already strong pent-up demand for larger blocks and meet the needs of those looking for a rural property where they still have access to a range of modern conveniences,” he concluded.
