THE Property Investment Trust has paid $2.2 million for one of the last remaining blocks in the established Gilbertson Industrial Estate in Derrimut, 18 km west of the Melbourne CBD.
Jones Lang LaSalle’s Rob Mirabello and Ashley Buller negotiated the deal for the 1.841 ha block of land.
“Rarely is a development opportunity of this size, in a highly sought after distribution location such as Derrimut, listed on the market.
“It is therefore not surprising that the site received a great deal of interest during the marketing campaign and the sale consequently achieved a rate of $119.50 per sqm, which is a great result for the vendor,” Buller said.
