ENGINEERING firm Zektin Engineering has leased a two level office building in Royal Parade, Parkville in a deal negotiated by Lemon Baxter.
Located at 407 Royal Parade, known as Healthscope House, the property has a total building area of 1,871 sqm including 575 sqm at the ground floor and 1,256 sqm on the first level as well as onsite parking for 38 cars.
Zektin Engineering has relocated and will consolidate its occupancy from two previous locations in Melbourne’s northern suburbs.
According to Lemon Baxter director Michael McClusky, the firm has a special involvement in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries for which the Parkville area and the adjoining University of Melbourne and hospitals precinct forms a key activity centre.
“Zektin will pay a net rental in the mid $400,000 range by assuming the lease of the first floor area which had been retained by Healthscope and taking out a new lease over the ground floor.
“The lease term is for an initial three year period.
“The building at 407 St Kilda Road is privately owned,” McClusky said.
