A film studio in Hamilton designed to handle full-scale productions is on the block for $14m.
The 91,000 sq ft property at 234 Queen Street North includes a so-called megastage – one of only several in the region – spanning more than 25,000 sq ft. There’s also over 40,000 sq ft of additional production space, including 10,000 sq ft of column-free space with 24-foot ceilings, and 6,500 sq ft of office space.
Cushman & Wakefield has the marketing assignment for the property, which is occupied by Aeon Studios. The property can be delivered vacant, or a buyer could enter into a sale-leaseback deal with Aeon.
Zoning permits a wide range of commercial uses. There are 1.9 acres of excess land available for development, including residential purposes. The property is near the West Harbour GO station and central Hamilton.
