GYM operator Rec Xpress is will flex its muscle in Bentleigh after signing a five-year term with options in the suburb’s main retail strip of Centre Road.
The 378-380 Centre Road site will be the fifth all-hours gym for the operator.
It will pay $100,000 per annum net for the 440sqm metre premises, which include double-fronted ground-floor retail space and first-floor office accommodation, on a 451 sqm site with rear access and on-site parking.
Teska Carson’s Tom Maule and George Takis negotiated the deal on behalf of a Melbourne-based private investor.
Maule said the tenant required a spacious retail area in located that offered first-rate exposure to a growing market and excellent public and private transport access.
“This is a versatile property on a busy, high profile strip, and within a rapidly developing location encompassing several recently completed apartment projects,” he said. “The property also offered direct access to Bentleigh Railway Station and close proximity to a number of public car parks as well as major retailers including Aldi and Coles supermarkets.”
