SOUTH Australian based construction group Hansen Yuncken has been appointed as builder for Mercedes-Benz Sydney's new state-of-the-art dealership in Alexandria.
Building works will commence shortly on the 17,000 sqm site, which is set to be one of Sydney’s most impressive luxury car showrooms.
Hansen Yuncken managing director Peter Kennedy said the company was pleased to be involved in such a stand-out project in a highly visible location on the busy CBD to Sydney Airport route.
“This exciting project adds to our strong forward work position in the Sydney market, having recently been awarded a $414 million contract to undertake school building projects in Sydney as part of the Commonwealth Government’s Building the Education Revolution initiative,” he added.
The project is expected to be completed in 2010.
