THE Hong Kong-based Wong family is looking to offload two neighbouring sites in Melbourne’s Docklands 18 months after getting approval for a $150 million apartment and office tower.
The key site in the offering is 13-33 Hartley Street, spanning 6,714 sqm and which has approval for a 50-level building with 400 apartments and 4,580 sqm of retail and office space. It is tipped to go for over $20 million.
Also up for grabs is 95-97 Lorimer Street, which covers 2,248 sqm and is seeking $8 million.
Jimmy Pak Chung Wong’s Claris Ninety-Nine gained approval early last year for the Hartley Street tower, designed by MGS Architects. Both sites are within the 480-hectare Fishermans Bend urban renewal site on the south west fringe of the CBD.
They are for sale through Gorman Allard Shelton with expressions of interest closing this Thursday.
