ICON Builders has taken out a short-term lease over a North Melbourne office space opposite the Queen Victoria Market.
It will pay $30,000 per annum net for the 112 sqm space on level one of 256 Victoria Street, on a 12 to 18-month deal negotiated by Fergus Evans of Teska Carson on behalf of a Melbourne-based investor.
Evans said the tenant was attracted to the highly regarded CBD fringe location, the functional layout and the first rate transport access, being in close proximity to trams, trains and parking.
He said this part of North Melbourne had become very much sought after, with increasing interest from office and retail tenants.
