Savills Australia divisional director industrial Michael Green and Greg Jensz negotiated the deal at 9 Ashley St.
Green said the tenant would move from its current home at Brunswick in Melbourne’s inner north.
The group has taken a six-year lease over a 5,581 sqm office and warehouse facility, including nearly 4,000 sqm of warehousing space, paying a net rental of circa $565,000 per annum.
“Central West offered a much more efficient business model for Independence Australia from both an operational and staff perspective and involved the least disruption to ongoing services which is extremely important for a not-for-profit in the disability sector,” Green said.
