News Ltd reported that Lend Lease plans to develop a mixed-use project over the next 15 years.
However, Lend Lease property CEO Tarun Gupta said plans are in the preliminary stages.
Gupta did not disclose the acquisition price.
“We still have to go through the planning process and the rezoning process and that will define what the eventual masterplan is.
“It’s hard at this stage to put an end value on it except to say it’s a substantial site that will be developed,” he added.
Located only 7km from Campbelltown, Mt Gilead is getting rezoned to predominantly residential land as part of the NSW government`s strategic objectives for the release of greenfield land in the Sydney Metropolitan Region.
