DESIGN, engineering and project management company, LGPM has forked out $3,289,650 for a Noble Park facility which will become its new Melbourne headquarters.
LGPM will relocate from Scoresby, where they are leasing.
Fitzroys agents Jordan Ceppi and David Bourke, in conjunction with Andrew Waddell and Michail Shalit of Gross Waddell, sold the 47-49 Overseas Drive property.
Ceppi said the hotly contested expressions of interest campaign generated 85 enquiries and five offers.
The modern office, laboratory and warehouse complex of 2,387sqm is on a 6,749sqm site zoned Commercial 2 and which features a 53m frontage and 64 on-site parking spaces, and is leased until early next year.
Ceppi said investors, owner occupiers and developers all showed strong interest in the site.
“The industrial market is running hot, as the e-commerce boom drives demand for conveniently located logistics and warehouse facilities,” he said. “Given the property’s zoning and location, interest came from a range of companies looking for a quality facility with ample office and hardstand space, including construction groups.”
