WITH the council greenlighting their proposal, Deicorp and PAYCE are set to deliver the key Melrose Central retail and residential site at Melrose Park.
Melrose Central retail precinct will include around 30,000sqm of retail space and almost 500 apartments, for a total GFA of circa 73,000sqm comprising supermarkets, a medical centre, childcare, a gym and a 4,000sqm private hospital.
“PAYCE is committed to seeing the vision for Melrose Park become a reality and is delighted to be working with Deicorp, a trusted and capable builder and developer,” said Dominic Sullivan, a spokesperson for PAYCE.
“Melrose Central will see the creation of around 1,500 permanent jobs in retail and commercial services, while providing well-located housing a stone’s throw from Sydney’s second CBD.”
The precinct will sit around 17km north-west of the Sydney CBD, 8km out from the Parramatta CBD and will feature a station in the newly confirmed Parramatta Stage 2 Light Rail route at its entrance.
“We are delighted to be working together with PAYCE on what will become the key destination on the route of the new Light Rail that links Parramatta with Sydney Olympic Park,” said Fouad Deiri, founder at Deicorp.
“And with a new station on the doorstep of the site, it reinforces our shared commitment to delivering great transport connected developments.”
The project is set to add to the Sydney-based Deicorp’s residential and mixed-use pipeline, of 3,000 apartments currently under construction and a further 3,000 apartments to be delivered over the next five years
