A Mississauga warehouse has hit the market seeking $11m, Green Street News can reveal.
An unidentified seller is asking $525/sq ft for the 21,000 sq ft building at 585 Secretariat Court. The property can also be leased, with the asking rent set at $20/sq ft. Colliers has the marketing assignment.
The 21-year-old building comprises a 5,800 sq ft office and showroom area, with the remaining 15,000 sq ft reserved for warehousing. It is tenanted by a food service equipment supplier, which has a lease running until Dec. 1, after which the property will be vacant.
The property can be acquired before December if a buyer agrees to assume responsibility for the remaining lease obligations.
Sitting on just over 1 acre, 585 Secretariat has access areas for trucks at the front and rear of the property. There are two truck-level shipping doors and an additional door with drive-in access, with a clearance height of nearly 24 ft.
The property is 2 km from Highway 410 via Derry Road, connecting to Highway 401 and Highway 407. Toronto Pearson International Airport is 6 km away.
