Colliers International’s Pat Connolly negotiated the leasehold sale of the Orange Whip nightclub at 115-119 Maroondah Highway Ringwood for $500,000, plus stock at valuation.
The venue features three separate rooms over two levels and holds a late licence until 5am with capacity for 600-plus people.
“Known as the premier nightclub in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, Orange Whip has built a fiercely loyal clientele and a strong reputation in its industry.
“Orange Whip is a really impressive suburban nightclub – it sports a very recent fit out, along with a full complement of state-of-the-art sound and lighting equipment,” Connolly said.
“I’ve been a very big fan of Orange Whip for a long time now and I’m absolutely thrilled to be taking it over,” the new owner Gretch Suratman said.
“I will endeavour to build on its already fantastic name and our plans are entirely directed toward delivering the best night clubbing experience for patrons in the suburbs, who can expect to see regular big-name acts, extremely competitive drink pricing and some absolutely cracking nights, week in week out.” Suratman concluded.
