A FORMER pet food distribution industrial facility in Boronia, 29kms east of Melbourne CBD, has been snapped up an owner occupier for $1.8 million.
The property was the former Victorian headquarters of Eastern Distributors, a stockfeed and pet food distribution business which recently relocated to larger premises in Dandenong.
CB Richard Ellis manager David Aiello negotiated the off market sale of the 9/981 Mountain Highway facility, which incorporates 2,214 sqm of office/warehouse space on a site area of 3,297 sqm.
Constructed in the 1980s, the Mountain Highway complex is located within Boronia’s most established industrial precinct.
Aiello said the sale reflected the trend for owner occupiers now opting for B & C grade properties.
“Businesses are taking advantage of the recent falls in property values and cheap interest rates to secure larger premises to cater for their future growth requirements,” Aiello concluded.
