OZ Minerals, formerly known as Oxiana, has leased 7,100 sqm of space at the Australand and GPT Wholesale Office Fund owned office building Twenty8 Freshwater Place in Southbank, Melbourne.
OZ Minerals has leased four floors totalling 7,100 sqm at Twenty8 Freshwater Place.
Australand’s commercial and industrial division regional general manager Anthony Maugeri said the 10 year lease is the first to be confirmed for Twenty8.
“We are delighted to announce this commitment from this new group to Twenty8 Freshwater Place, some six months ahead of the development’s anticipated completion,” he added.
Australand’sC&I senior business development manager Chamoun Malki said the group is in discussion with a number of prospective tenants and expect to be in a position to announce further commitments in the near future.
Twenty8 Freshwater Place is due for completion in December 2008, and will provide a total of 34,000 sqm of new A-Grade space designed to achieve a 4.5 star NABERS rating and 250 carparks.
