MALAYSIAN developer SP Setia has awarded Probuild the contract to deliver Uno, its 65 storeys residential tower in Melbourne’s CBD, defying the challenging apartment market.
Set on a 1,741 sqm site, the 210-metre-high development at 111 A’Beckett St will comprise 632 apartments and 130 car parking spaces.
SP Setia’s Australian CEO Choong Kai Wai said the group is excited to see the Uno vision come to life.
“I’m incredibly proud of our team in Australia to get to this point in the development of UNO, which will truly be a new landmark for Melbourne’s skyline,” he said. “We look forward to progressing our new relationship with Probuild, a builder who is committed to safety and delivering high quality residential apartments.”
Probuild’s Group managing director Luke Stambolis said: “This appointment is testament to the faith SP Setia has in Probuild’s extensive expertise in residential construction, as well as our commitment to safety and delivering Melbourne’s best quality apartments.”
Colliers has been appointed to sell the apartments.
