The ASX Property Index closed 0.9% higher yesterday to finish at 2226 points, led by the resurging All Ordinaries, which closed 1.4% higher at 5174.8 points.
Yesterday, the market winners were Newhaven Hotel, Sunland Group and Leighton Holdings.
Building products provider Brickworks also joined the list of winners, closing 39 cents or 3.51% higher at $11.5.
The market was wrapped with Brickworks, which defied the slowdown in the building products market by posting a net profit of $102 million for the 2006 financial year.
The non-performers yesterday Cedar Woods, United Overseas and Village Life.
