HAIR and beauty salon Blow Dry Bar has leased a ground floor property at 759 Bourke St Docklands in a deal negotiated by Fitzroys.
Agent Andrew Hewett leased the 57 sqm fitted ground floor office to Blow Dry Bar at a rate of around $700 per sqm.
The property is located between the two NAB buildings in Docklands, at 700 and 800 Bourke streets respectively.
Hewett said the operator was keen to tap into the growing office worker market, which is mostly time-poor.
“Within the Batman’s Hill Precinct of Docklands and combined with office developments around the Stadium and Victoria Harbour, it is anticipated that over 700,000 sqm of office accommodation has been committed to over the next few years,” he added.
Hewett said Blow Dry Bar was expected to open in April, ahead of the NAB2 opening in May/June.
The owner is a private investor.
