SANCTUARY Cove has chalked up more than $100 million in sales in recent months, as the Hope Island region of the Gold Coast continues to draw in buyers.
Sales at the master planned community have included two $10 million plus sales of ultimate waterfront properties, two $5 million plus sales of homes at auction a the sale of a vacant lot of land for $3.25 million.
Much of the sales in the community have been managed by Ray White Surfers Paradise Group, via its Ray White Sanctuary Cove onsite office.
“Sanctuary Cove has always been an aspirational destination, which is clearly a key draw card for the interstate market seeking the idyllic waterfront lifestyle with high end amenity at every turn,” said Matt Gates, sales consultant at Ray White.
“The auction results alone are an unprecedented outcome as it’s incredibly rare for such high-end properties to sell under the hammer in Sanctuary Cove,” added Gates.
A prestige property in the master planned community, estimated to near $20 million in value, is set to be entered to the market by Ray White Sanctuary Cove soon.
“The astronomical figures we are witnessing validate the long held view that Sanctuary Cove continues to be one of Australia’s benchmark lifestyle precincts,” said Gates.
Sanctuary Cove has reaped the benefits from the shift in buyer preference to lifestyle living, accelerated by COVID-19’s move to remote working, as well as rightsizers looking to change up their space, after unprecedented time spent at home throughout 2020.
“Sanctuary Cove has a unique ability to appeal to an incredibly diverse range of buyers due to its convenient proximity to both the Gold Coast and Brisbane, bordering the proposed Coomera Connector, plus its immersion in a private and secure community atmosphere,” said Gates.
“Because of this, we’ve witnessed an influx of buyers from across the board, including the interstate sea change seekers, and both upsizers and downsizers, all chasing their slice of premium quality living.
Ray White sales in the community in recent months have included the $8.8 million sale of 2102 The Circle, the $6.1 million under the hammer sale of 7402 Marine Drive East, and the $5.2 million sale of 5705 Anchorage Terrace.
