DEVELOPER Sekisui House is meeting demand for luxury apartments in Sydney’s north-west with its upcoming Veue Central, set to be the tallest stage in its $1 billion masterplanned community in Norwest.
Stage 4 of The Orchards, Veue, will sit in the centre of the community spanning six buildings of nine to 22 storeys with 583 apartments.
The residential towers have been designed with a vertical green spine by Crone Architects, which is complemented by open landscaped recreational central core, connecting residents to The Orchards’ parklands.
“Veue’s design vision defers to The Orchards’ natural surrounds with residences maximising connection to the landscape and nature,” said Julian Venning, principal of design at Crone Architects.
“The green of the gardens is drawn into the resident experience. A sense of wellness is promoted in the design within the wonderful natural environment. A place to return to from the fast pace of the city to a garden setting for which Baulkham Hills is renowned.”
Residents will have access to a wellness centre with gym and pool connected directly to the garden, in addition to the adjacent communal function centre, EV charging stations and a concierge service.
“Veue is invested in a sustainable future and committed to environmental sustainability, bringing together multiple technologies to lower emissions and energy consumption as well as supporting The Orchards community,” added Venning.
The Orchards is located in Norwest, around 31 kilometres out from the Sydney CBD and is strategically positioned 800 metres from Norwest Metro Train Station and 600 metres from Norwest Marketown and Norwest Business Park, which is currently the workplace of over 30,000 workers.
The masterplanned communist was designed by Turner and spans s five stages and will comprise 1,300 apartments.
Last July, Sekisui completed its Japanese inspired gold-side building Aire in The Orchards, after selling around $35 million worth of apartments at the Lumia Lux stage of the community in a week.
“Strong demand is expected in Veue with light-filled apartments boasting splendid uninterrupted northerly views overlooking Castle Hill Country Club, Norwest Lakes to the south and the Blue Mountains to the west,” said David Lee, sales manager, apartments & mixed-use developments – The Orchards at Sekisui House Australia,
“It is anticipated selective owner occupiers or local downsizers moving from a larger home will purchase the exclusive upper level ‘homes in the sky’, whilst smaller apartment types (1 and 2 beds) will be popular choices for first home buyers and investors. Apartment configurations with additional rooms or studies will suit buyers who work from home.”
Prices start from $840,000 for a residence with 76 sqm internal space and up to $3.2 million for a unique four-bed penthouse with of 202 sqm internal.
Veue Central’s VIP release is set for 1 July, with the official public launch scheduled for 5 August and construction expected to commence in 2024.
