SHERPA Property Group has bought a new site for future residential development in the Gold Coast, after its recent success in the market.
Sherpa plans to use the 4,000sqm site, at 787 Ashmore Road, to develop six home and land packages to be designed by Valcon Homes.
“With land, particularly quality land, in short supply on the central Gold Coast, this Ashmore Road lot was a rare find that we immediately saw an immense level of potential in,” said Christie Leet, CEO of Sherpa.
The central Queensland site, was selected by Sherpa due to the shrinking land supply in the area, in what the group identified as a gap in the market.
“The location offers stunning views of the city skyline that offers tranquil and country living in a city address in a well-lit and serene suburb.”
The land has easy access to both the Smith Street and Pacific Motorways and the Nerang train station, while also sitting within close proximity to shopping centres, outlets, gyms, cafes and the Gold Coast Health and Knowledge Precinct.
“It is truly an incredible time to be part of the Gold Coast market and after witnessing the enthusiasm with which buyers have responded to our projects, we are eager to pursue even more opportunities along the coast to continue delivering stand-out projects driven by architecture, design and quality,” added Leet.
Sherpa recently achieved a sell-out in its $36 million Perspective Two Sea in Palm Beach, following the success of its $35 million sister project Perspective 488, which sold out within three months.
Also in Palm Beach, Lacey Group sold out at its $32 million The Monroe, the group’s second successful development on Jefferson Lane, following the sold out $32 million The Jefferson.
While Sherpa Group’s Freedom Rainbow Bay and Freedom Cabarita land estates also saw consecutive sell-outs.
