A SIGNIFICANT Parramatta gateway site of nearly 10,000sqm is being offered for the sale.
Savills’ Stuart Cox and Neil Cooke have been appointed to sell the site at 142 James Ruse Drive as a going concern, via an expressions of interest campaign ending June 7.
Concept drawings proposed for the site provide for 493 apartments over four towers together with around 2,500sqm of retail space.
Cox said the property is adjacent to the $1 billion proposed light rail station project planned for Parramatta.
“This is an exceptional location that offers buyers a complete blank canvas with significant rezoning potential (STCA),” he added.
Cooke said that within the immediate specific area there has been circa $115 million worth of sites sold, all having been industrial zoned assets with excellent rezoning potential to provide for mixed-use residential/retail developments (STCA).
