THE owners of Brighton’s best known restaurant, The Pantry, will embark on a new café/restaurant venture after leasing another Church St premises.
Teska Carson’s Barry Novy and George Takis handled the deal for the 7 Church St property and said the 120 sqm premises, which will be converted from its former Crisp and Green fruit shop guise, was let at circa $1000 a sqm plus outgoings on a 15 year term with a 15 year option.
“The new lease is all about building on what has been a very successful enterprise with The Pantry having established a very strong client base over the last twenty years which continues to grow,” Novy said.
Takis said the new property would capitalise on that growth in providing the new business with exposure to a well-established and very popular precinct whose reputation extends well beyond the local community.
