A VACANT retail strata shop at 234 Caroline Springs Boulevard, Caroline Springs in Melbourne's west has sold for $610,000 by Colliers International.
The property was sold by Jeremy Gruzewski and Ted Dwyer, on behalf of Deloitte.
The sale price represents a rate of $2,259 per sqm.
Dwyer said the purchaser had plans to convert the existing café into a Taco Bill’s Mexican restaurant.
“The property forms part of the former Mercure Hotel.
“The existing restaurant provides a total area of approximately 270 sqm, including alfresco dining, and was sold with all fixtures and fittings including a fully equipped commercial kitchen,” he added.
“The restaurant is located strategically within Caroline Springs and is surrounded by the area’s major retail shopping centre which comprises supermarkets, restaurants, schools, sporting facilities, recreational parks and parking facilities,” Dwyer said.
