Marriott International has named two executives to its Canadian leadership team, Hotelier Magazine reported.
Susie Grynol will join the company on June 3 as market vice president of Eastern Canada. She’ll work with area general managers and property general managers to drive hotel performance. Keri Robinson, a 35-year veteran of Marriott, will expand her role to area vice president, U.S. western mountain Pacific and western Canada, effective May 18. She will focus on Managed by Marriott hotels in the region.
Grynol most recently was CEO of the Hotel Association of Canada. Before taking that position in 2016, she served as vice president of federal government relations, head of the Ottawa office and lead spokesperson for the Retail Council of Canada.
Robinson was promoted to area vice president in 2020 after serving as area general manager in the Seattle and San Diego markets for Marriott and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. During her time with Starwood, Robinson also led full-service managed properties in Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton.
Both executives will report to Paul Cahill, senior vice-president, Canada operations.
