The City of Surrey is eager to see a parcel of land up for grabs in White Rock change development plans to accommodate rental housing or a care home, Green Street News can reveal.
The 46,000 sq ft lot at 15654 North Bluff Road has been listed for $14m. Engel & Volkers’ Whitestone Select Properties Group has the marketing assignment.
The site has been approved for a 50-unit sq ft townhouse development, but Surrey officials have approached the unnamed vendor about changing the development plans to include a rental component.
About 7 km from Crescent Beach, the property is also 18 km from Surrey’s Guildford Town Centre. It is 37 km from downtown Vancouver.
