CBRE has made two new appointments to its agribusiness and valuations business.
Phil Schell and Geoff Warriner have joined CBRE in the agribusiness transactions, valuations and advisory.
CBRE agribusiness regional director Danny Thomas said Schell is a well-known and respected sales agent, with an enviable track record in delivering results for clients.
Schell has over 25 years’ experience, most recently heading up the South Australian rural and agribusiness sales team of another first tier international property services provider.
CBRE’s South Australia managing director Phil Rundle said Schell Phil would be responsible for completion of an array of difficult divestments across the horticultural, cropping, livestock and aquaculture sectors.
In Brisbane, Warriner’s responsibilities includes refining market strategies in key industries, particularly northern beef production, feed lotting and processing.
Warriner has more than 25 years of experience in the northern cattle industry in senior leadership roles, spanning board representation, operations management, sales and directing business strategy and marketing. He is also a longstanding member of the Northern Territory Cattlemen’s Association.
He was most recently the chief operating officer for Consolidated Pastoral Company in both Australia and Indonesia.
“In this role, he was responsible for the overall results of a business spanning more than 19 stations, employing in excess of 200 people and carrying in excess of 300,000 cattle,” CBRE Queensland managing director Bruce Baker said.
