THE NSW government has sold the former Coffs Harbour Courthouse and Police Station for $2.1 million.
The site located at 20 Moonee St was sold following a four week marketing campaign.
Government Property NSW CEO Brett Newman said the strong result is testament to the site’s redevelopment potential.
“The sale of the former Courthouse and Police Station is an excellent example of the government’s approach to selling vacant and underutilised assets and reinvesting the proceeds back into services and infrastructure,” he added.
The former Courthouse and Police Station was constructed in the 1960s and is currently vacant. The site was deemed surplus to requirements following the opening of the new Justice Precinct in early 2015.
