OWNER occupiers continue to chase industrial properties in Melbourne, with two standalone facilities in Derrimut’s Paramount Industrial Estate snapped up recently.
The 1,135 sqm Unit 1, 36 Radnor Drive was purchased for $1.275 million, at a building rate of $1,123.35 per sqm; and the 1,464 sqm Unit 2, 310 Foleys Road for $1,584,640 at a building rate of $1,082.40 per sqm.
Leo Mancino of CVA sold the properties, saying there were purchased by owner occupiers who took advantage of the final month of stamp duty savings and demonstrated the strong demand for industrial properties of more than 1,000 sqm.
The estate, located in Melbourne’s western suburbs, is located close to the Western Ring Road and Western Freeway.
